- This is the Amaranth Freely Redistributable Amiga Software Collection
- catalog for January, 1989.
-
- The Amaranth Collection consists of about one hundred fifty disks
- of utilities, applications, digitized sound and pictures, artwork,
- animation, text, and development software, all for the Amiga.
-
- Amaranth is unusual in that the software is organized heirarchically.
- Eleven major categories contain subcategories of related software.
- When you order, you order a category rather than a disk. For example,
- you could request the board game group, which resides currently
- on three disks. Or you could order the icon and pointer groups, which
- both will fit on a single disk. Mix and match freely, using notations
- on the catalog to find the number of disks the order will require.
-
- To order, specify the groups by name or by group number (II.A.2.b, e.g).
- Be sure, if you use group number, to include the month of the catalog.
- Areas of the Collection are periodically restructured to accomodate
- new material, which is added continually.
-
- No charge is made for the software itself; a fee is required, however,
- to offset the time and expense involved in collecting and classifying
- incoming software and preparing disks for shipping.
-
- The customer must include postage-paid mailers for disks.
- Orders received without postage-paid mailers cannot be honored.
-
- Send empty disks onto which to copy the software, or
- include $2.50 per disk.
-
- The fee for orders of 5 or fewer disks is $5 per disk;
- 6-15 disks, $4 per disk;
- 16-50, $3;
- 51 or more, $2.
